Viper Networks, Inc., is pleased to announce that the Company (in partnership with Apollo Metro Solutions, Inc.) has recently completed a key demonstration pilot project for the main Jeddah Saudi Arabia University Solar light campus.
After recently gaining LED lighting product certification approval in municipalities throughout the Eastern Provinces of Saudi Arabia, the Company is now following up their successful demonstration and pilot programs in Western Saudi Arabia with fast-track product certification efforts expanding throughout the Kingdom.
Jeddah is the largest city in Makkah Province, and the second-largest metropolitan area in Saudi Arabia after the capital city, Riyadh. With a population of 3.4 million people, Jeddah has the largest seaport on the Red Sea and is the major urban center of western Saudi Arabia.
With eleven (11) Universities and Colleges within the greater Jeddah area, Viper Networks and Apollo Metro are gearing up to provide LED lighting for college campuses, student housing, parking lots and street lights. The initial order is expected to be approximately $500,000 for the first installations with multiple orders over several projects projected to reach $10,000,000 for next year.
Several years of product performance testing along with recent certification approvals with both domestic and foreign municipalities have already proven that Apollo Metro's Intelligent LED lighting technology, which consumes 65 to 70 percent less energy than traditional lamps, will continue to shine a spotlight on the Company's remarkable LED technology and Smart Streetlights capabilities.
Furthermore, even greater savings can be achieved by the addition of Apollo Metro's remote monitoring via Wireless Street Light Control features. The integrated Wireless Street Light Control fits inside the Apollo fixture and provides a visual indication of all street lights.
