Photon Control has been named as one of Canada's fastest growing technology companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ awards for technological innovation, entrepreneurship, rapid growth and leadership, as well as Deloitte's Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Photon Control ranked 42nd and 366th respectively, based on the percentage of revenue growth over five years.
Now in its 17th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ program celebrates leaders in the Canadian technology industry and tracks the successful growth of Canadian-grown leaders. The program augments the broader Deloitte North American Technology Fast 500™ initiative with winners automatically eligible for this elite ranking.

To qualify for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ ranking, companies must have been in business for at least five years, have revenues of at least $5 million, be headquartered in Canada, own proprietary technology, and conduct research and development activities in Canada. A panel of industry experts evaluate and judge companies based on four key criteria: competitive advantage; size, growth, and market attractiveness; management effectiveness and organization; and financial performance.

Photon Control have been listed on Business in Vancouver's list of B.C.'s 100 fastest growing companies for the fourth consecutive year, achieving the 27th spot, as well as B.C.'s 100 most profitable companies making it to the 84th spot.
Business in Vancouver's list of B.C.'s 100 fastest growing and 100 most profitable companies is one of the newspaper's signature annual features. It recognizes companies in the province with the greatest percentage change in revenue over the past five fiscal years. Companies on the list represent a wide range of B.C.'s business community, everything from technology startups and service businesses to the largest mining and resource companies in the country. Since 1994, the list has provided an overview of the economy's key growth sectors. It also provides readers with insights about what it takes to build a business in good times and bad.
Photon Control Named as a Finalist for the Business of the Year (up to 50 Employees) Award Burnaby Business Excellence Awards
Photon Control was named as a finalist for the Business of the Year (up to 50 employees) award at the 15th Annual Burnaby Business Excellence Awards (BBEAs). The Business of the Year (up to 50 employees) award is presented to a local business employing up to fifty people which has made an outstanding contribution in the combined areas of business success, innovation and community service. The BBEAs are a joint initiative of the City of Burnaby and the Burnaby Board of Trade designed to recognize and celebrate business excellence, entrepreneurship and community involvement within our local business community. Awards are handed out in 9 different categories each year plus an annual inductee is named to the Burnaby Business Hall of Fame.
