Grandstream Networks, the leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, today announced a new indoor Infrared (IR) HD IP camera. The GXV3611IR_HD builds on the popular GXV3611_HD by adding Infrared functionality to offer business and residential users a powerful indoor camera that can monitor in any light setting, including no-light and low-light.
The GXV3611IR_HD, which also includes an integrated microphone and speaker, is ideal for wide-angle, close-proximity monitoring of offices, banks, hotels, retail settings, home settings and building entrances.
The GXV3611IR_HD is fully compatible with Grandstream’s GVR3550 Network Video Recorder (NVR) and can be easily paired with the GVR3550 using its Auto-Discovery feature. This new indoor infrared fixed dome IP camera features a 2.8mm wide-angle lens for close-proximity monitoring in business and residential settings. The GXV3611IR_HD includes H.264 multi-streaming rate, ONVIF compliance, integrated PoE, embedded SD interface for local recording, and infrared capability (IR_CUT and IR LED) for advanced nighttime and low-light video surveillance monitoring. With its built-in microphone and speaker, the camera offers users the ability to create an intercom-like solution for making a voice-over-IP call to any GXV3611IR_HD to speak with someone near the camera, for example, a delivery person.
All of Grandstream’s GXV IP Video Surveillance cameras, including the new GXV3611IR_HD, support open standard SIP/VoIP for 2-way audio and 1-way video streaming, advanced notification and alert options, built-in high performance streaming servers and more. Grandstream’s IP cameras can be managed by Grandstream’s powerful GVR3550 NVR, which features easy installation and large recording capacity, in addition to Grandstream’s FREE GSurf Pro Video Management Software that controls up to 72 cameras simultaneously.
“We’re pleased to announce the GXV3611IR_HD IP video camera that further expands our current portfolio of innovative, top quality IP cameras by offering an indoor HD camera with infrared functionality at very competitive price,” said David Li, CEO of Grandstream Networks. “At Grandstream, we take great pride in offering a total solution portfolio consisting of NVR, free video management software, and a wide range of different IP cameras to suit various customers’ security needs.”
