AdvancedCath, a portfolio company of Inverness Graham Investments, announced on September 9, 2014 it significantly expanded its outsourced medical device manufacturing platform by acquiring LSA Laser located in Plymouth, MN. LSA Laser brings state of the art laser welding and micro machining capabilities to complement AdvancedCath’s existing catheter and guidewire manufacturing business.

LSA Laser specializes in laser cutting, laser welding, laser ablation and laser marking and provides precision medical device manufacturing and assembly services to medical device OEMs. LSA Laser’s components and assemblies are used in a variety of medical devices including coronary, peripheral and neuro vascular devices, stimulation leads, surgical instruments, dental and orthopedic devices.
