HORIBA Jobin Yvon Presents the ACTIVA M

HORIBA Jobin Yvon presents the ACTIVA M, the Master in multi-line analysis by ICP-OES, combining superb instrumental performance with unique advanced software tools.

The benefits of multi-line analysis are the efficient use of the information emitted by the ICP in the full 120-800 nm spectrum, validation of line selection and verification of unexpected spectral and non-spectral interferences.

The innovative software tools, M.A.S.T.E.R. (Multi-line Analysis, Selection Tool for Enhanced Reliability) and S.O.S. (Statistical Outlier Survey) emphasize these benefits, thanks to a new proprietary ICP-based Database, featuring not only wavelengths but also ionization level, line width, limit of detection, dynamic range of each line, thus providing data that allows the combination of single-element spectra to mimic real-life samples.

M.A.S.T.E.R. performs a multi-line selection according to the concentration range of each element and the matrix influence, and greatly simplifies the development and validation of new applications or changes in routine applications. S.O.S. evaluates the line concentration results through ANOVA data processing to detect outliers, which will be rejected, and to provide a single reliable result per element.

The ACTIVA M offers the practical use of multi-line analysis by first time operators or sophisticated users, through easy operation steps. Everyone can become an expert in ICP analysis and increase their confidence in the results.
