Edison Report announced that Amerlux's FINO Ultra Shallow Asymmetric Indirect Lighting Fixture received a LightTrades Award. The winning products were evaluated by the editor and four anonymous judges during Lightfair International, the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Street and Area Conference, IES Annual Conference, Lux Live, Strategies in Light, and The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition.
Amerlux is an industry leader of innovative task-specific and energy-efficient lighting for offices, hotels, retail, grocery and other commercial markets.
"We are proud to accept the inaugural LightTrades Award for FINO from Edison Report," said Amerlux CEO/President Chuck Campagna. "Architects and designers are experiencing precision, performance and comfort like never before with FINO and we are committed to providing flexible, high performing architectural lighting solutions using state of the art optics and LED technologies."
FINO is the world's first ultra shallow asymmetric luminaire that is wall mounted for optimal indirect lighting, including washing ceilings and floors. A stunningly thin, indirect LED lighting solution, FINO is only 5/8 inches deep using only 6.5 watts per foot. This fixture is designed to promote a crisp, comfortable work environment. FINO runs seamlessly across the walls without interfering with wall studs, leaving ceilings pristine clean – creating a beautiful visual impression.
FINO installs easily into sheet rock and features extruded construction and optics to provide the exact fit and finish for hairline joints, as well as an extruded two-piece, trimless mud frame with gear.
An engineered, snap-in lens delivers maximum efficiency and excellent light transmission with an integral reflector in a high reflectance white finish. An LED driver installs easily into walls and is accessible through the fixture for maintenance.
Available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K correlated color temperatures (CCTs), FINO offers a color-rendering index (CRI) of 80+, standard 0-10v dimming, 50,000 hours of life and an industry leading 10-year limited warranty.
Fixtures can be individually or continuous row-mounted using a drawer latching system that provides easy and precise joining of units for straight runs.
FINO is UL-, cUL listed and certified by CSA for US and Canada.
