Grizzly Labs Achieves New Milestone for Android Version of Genius Scan Pocket Scanner

The Grizzly Labs, the company behind the well-known app Genius Scan, today announced a new milestone for its Android version. Launched last August, Genius Scan for Android already reached 250,000+ users after being featured on Google Play as a must-have app in December. It's on track to follow the success of the iOS version, which has already helped more than 10 million users scan and organize their paper documents.

Genius Scan is a pocket scanner for mobile devices. It enables users to digitize any type of documents, convert them to PDF files, organize and share them in many ways. The powerful image processing algorithms makes the task effortless by providing border detection, perspective correction and image enhancing. Once the documents processed, Genius Scan supports exporting to the leading cloud storage services such as Box, Dropbox, Evernote or Google Drive.

"We are particularly proud of that milestone", said Bruno Virlet, co-founder of the Grizzly Labs. "Our goal is to make Genius Scan available to the largest possible number of users". To achieve this, The Grizzly Labs partnered with Intel® who provided their technical and marketing support to help support the millions of x86 Android devices. Now, more than 98% of the world's smartphones or tablets owners can use Genius Scan to go paperless.

Genius Scan for Android is available for free on Google Play.

Everyday, Genius Scan helps hundreds of thousand of users and small businesses to digitize documents, organize papers, remember thoughts, communicate contracts or manage expenses.
