Xponent Awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification for Excellence in Operations

Xponent Photonics, a leading technology innovator of FTTx optical components, today announced that it has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 Certification for quality management.

This certification was awarded following an extensive audit of the company's product development, manufacturing and distribution processes.

“ISO certification is an important step for Xponent as it acknowledges our commitment to continuously providing our customers the highest levels of quality,” said Jeffrey Rittichier, Xponent President and CEO. “We're especially pleased to have met these rigorous standards for both Silicon and Compound Semiconductor wafer fabrication processes.”

ISO 9001:2000 is recognized as the international standard of quality management in business-to-business dealings. It provides a number of stringent requirements a company must meet in order to achieve customer satisfaction through products and services that consistently meet customer expectations and continuously improve performance.

“Xponent is fully committed to providing excellence in the design, manufacture, testing and distribution of optical components,” said Tim O'Leary, Xponent's Director of Quality Control. “Our impressive performance throughout the ISO audit demonstrates our competence as a manufacturing organization, and is a strong endorsement of our commitment to customer satisfaction.”
