Cosemi Technologies, Inc., a privately held supplier of high-speed optical semiconductor solutions for the communications, cloud computing, and Fiber In The Home (FITH) markets, announced the availability of its OptoHD solution optically interconnecting high definition digital video sources to high definition video displays.

The OptoHD solution is ideal to connect the digital video sources, including Blu-Ray players, set top boxes, computers, gaming consoles, tablets, point and shoot cameras, DSLR cameras, camcorders, and smartphones to the high definition display equipment including HD monitors, 3DTV, HDTVs, and UHD TVs. The OptoHD solution offers connection spans ranging from 10 meters to 100 meters with no loss of video integrity.
Cosemi is featured in the BIC SI Conference and Exhibit in Las Vegas on September 17th, 2013 in a presentation addressing the general trend and evolution of the future A/V. The presentation is entitled "The Last Yard: Optical Fiber for Next Generation Digital A/V Cables."
