New Explosion Proof LED Light Cart for Paint Spray Booths from Larson Electronics

The Larson Electronics EPLC-24-4L-LED explosion proof LED light cart is designed to provide durable and powerful lighting for operators who need an easily maneuvered source of high quality illumination in areas deemed Class 1 Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations.

This cart mounted lighting system features a heavy duty and light weight wheeled aluminum cart fitted with a four tube, two foot long, explosion proof LED fixture mounted on a swivel bracket that allows 270 degrees of fixture rotation for precise lighting control. The wheeled cart is built for rugged use with corrosion resistant aluminum alloy construction and is fitted with solid wheels for easy maneuvering of the system around the work space. This versatile cart mounted lighting system is ideal for areas where standard lighting fixtures are inadequate and can be rolled into position as needed and even under vehicles on lifts to provide underbody illumination. This maneuverability is particularly useful in paint spray booths where ensuring evenly distributed high quality illumination is critical to producing a flawless final finish. The LED fixture on this cart produces 7,680 lumens of light output with a 5300k color temperature, making it well suited for tasks requiring good contrast and detail rendering. There are no ballasts, and the LED tubes offer improved efficiency and longevity over other lighting types, providing 90 lumens per watt and an exceptional 50,000 hour operating life rating. This cart mounted lighting system is available in two voltage configurations including a 120/277 VAC version for use with standard current, and 12/24 VDC versions for use with low voltage power sources. Larson Electronics also includes 50 feet of SOOW cord fitted with a straight blade explosion proof plug and an inline explosion proof switch to allow operators to control operation while within the hazardous area. This versatile LED light cart carries Class 1 Division 1 & 2 and Class 2 Division 1 & 2 certification, paint spray booth approval, and UL certification to Canadian standards, and is an ideal lighting solution for operators who need high quality lighting in a versatile yet HAZLOC compliant system.

“Operators of paint spray booths are looking for a simple, manageable way to position bright, white explosion proof lighting where they need it,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’ LarsonElectronics.com. “This wheeled cart enables operators to move a 75 pound paint spray booth light around easily and position it beside or even beneath the object they are painting. The LED light fixture carries UL Class 1 and Class 2 ratings and a paint spray booth rating. Delivering 60 watts of LED light power at 5300K color temperature, operators can deliver bright white light where they need it. Anti-static wheels, the aluminum cart and 50 foot SOOW cord with explosion proof plug make the fixture versatile and compliant as a hazardous location light fixture.“
