Bridgelux’s Innovative Solid State Vero LED Array Light Now Commercially Available

Bridgelux, a leading innovator and manufacturer of LED lighting technologies and solutions, announced today the commercial availability of the Vero™ LED array, an innovative solid state light source that makes quality lighting easy.

All form factors of Vero LED arrays are now commercially available and shipping to customers and distribution partners worldwide. Vero will also be showcased at the LightFair International exhibition April 23-25 in Philadelphia.

"The immediate and wide scale adoption of Vero is the tangible and powerful result of customer-driven product design. Vero's versatility minimizes not only the number of arrays needed, but it also reduces driver and optics inventory costs," said Mick Wilcox, VP of Marketing for Bridgelux. "Vero is a lighting platform with the performance, flexibility and features needed for today and tomorrow's lighting market."

The new Vero LED arrays increase lumen output by 20 percent over existing Bridgelux LED arrays, and deliver 110 lumens per watt in typical efficacy, compared to 95 lumens per watt for conventional arrays.

Vero allows lamp and luminaire manufacturers the opportunity to optimize for efficiency, cost, light density, or any combination of these attributes based on application specific design requirements. Vero features an industry-first onboard connector port that interfaces with the Molex Pico-EZmate™ connector to enable simple plug & play solder-free electrical interconnectivity and field upgradability.

The Vero next generation packaged array technology offers new advancement in design flexibility, ease of use, and energy efficiency today while also defining a platform for future smart functionality.

"We have been partnering with Bridgelux for years to deliver high quality lighting to our customers for a broad range of retail and commercial applications," said Chuck Campagna, CEO and President for Amerlux. "The ease of use features and design flexibility in Vero helps us shorten design cycles, accelerate time to market and improve manufacturability."
