A new product from Revolution Lighting Technologies, a leader in advanced LED lighting technology, sets a new standard for energy efficiency and light output for one of the industry's most popular tube lamps.
The 15-watt tube lamp from LED manufacturer Seesmart, which was acquired by Revolution Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: RVLT) in December, immediately becomes the most efficient four-foot T8 lamp on the market, utilizing the lowest wattage and generating the highest light output in its category. The innovative product design also allows the tube to be rotated to create customizable lighting angles.
The UL-listed LED tube lamps present a cost-effective, energy-saving lighting solution that delivers a rapid return on investment for customers.
The new Seesmart tube light produces a measured efficacy of 112 lumens per watt and produces more than 1,700 lumens of light, which makes it the most energy-efficient four-foot T8 lamp available.
"Our distributor and dealer network has requested this state of the art product and we are delivering on that request. We're pursuing several large exciting opportunities that we expect to book in the near term," said Charles J. Schafer , president and chief financial officer of Revolution Lighting Technologies. "This product represents a technological breakthrough for one of the most commonly used tube lamps in buildings around the world. It's a great example of the innovation happening every day at our company. We will continue to push the limits on energy efficiency, light quality and design as we bring groundbreaking products to market."
