Building on Broadcom's foundation of GPON solutions, the BCM685xx series addresses high-speed connectivity and stringent Quality of Service (QoS) requirements for residential triple-play services including video-on-demand (VoD), HD-IPTV, voice over IP (VoIP) and high-speed Internet (HIS). By providing consistent software integration across all carrier access CPE platforms, Broadcom offers carriers and system vendors a turnkey system to accelerate next-generation end-to-end FTTx networks.

Broadcom will demonstrate its latest residential gateway platform at the BBWF Conference in Amsterdam October 16-18.
