Digital Lumens has reported that Digital Lumens Intelligent LED Lighting System has been chosen by Mutual Logistics, a logistics and transportation company in France, for its facilities located in Bourg-en-Bresse and Le Mans.
Mutual Logistics is anticipated to achieve a 91% reduction in lighting energy consumption through the use of this lighting system. The lighting retrofit project is a key element of the company’s commitment towards sustainable business practices in all of its facilities. It is anticipated to save energy as well as maintenance costs, thus achieving a rapid payback.
Mutual Logistics has teamed up with the L&O Group’s representative, JC Lampes, on the lighting upgrade. JC Lampes will fit a combination of the Digital Lumens 13,000 lm and 18,000 lm luminaires as a replacement for existing 400 W high-intensity discharge luminaires in the Mutual Logistics facilities, which will also feature the LightRules lighting management system to manage and adjust lighting settings and to report on the lighting system's every day operations.
According to Digital Lumens’ President and Chief Executive Officer, Tom Pincince, the company is proud about the deployment of its Intelligent Lighting System at Mutual Logistics high-tech facilities. Mutual Logistics’ commitment towards sustainable business practices is admirable and is a solid long-term investment. As the company widens its global presence, it is happy to provide valuable solutions to customers in different industries and nations.
Mutual Logistics’ President, Vincent Denis commented that the systems-based LED lighting approach in its facilities provides the company unprecedented savings in energy, optimal environmental control and more visibility into its every day operations.
