3M Architectural Markets has unveiled new LED-based lighting solutions, namely AIR and FLEX, for the design and architecture community.
3M Architectural Markets has displayed the new products at its showroom in the International Market Square in Minneapolis. AIR and FLEX are flexible and aesthetically pleasing luminaires that facilitate creative customization and offer a cost-efficient LED lighting source leveraged by 3M’s proven technological expertise.
The luminaires are the latest members of an expanding product portfolio representing the boutique business’ area of focus on ground-breaking product design that emphasizes both function and form.
The lightweight hoop luminaire, AIR is offered in different diameters and RGB color output combinations. It delivers broad bands of highly uniform light and can be suspended either as a single luminaire or in a group. It utilizes energy-efficient LED lighting sources.
FLEX is a customizable luminaire, which can be curved and hung to go along with other architectural products and deliver innovative and aesthetically pleasing luminous installations along ceilings, walls or both. Flex has more options through the mixing and matching of 11 thin, lightweight connectable components that use cost-efficient LED sources, which are also offered in custom or standard finishes.
Both AIR and FLEX are suitable for a broad range of settings, which include the workplace, hospitality, healthcare and retail. The customizable nature of the luminaires facilitates bold, unique, realistic and sustainable design.
3M’s Global Business Manager of Design Lighting, George Levendusky stated that AIR and FLEX are a testament of 3M Architectural Markets’ commitment on innovation and design quality. These luminaires have the efficiency of an LED and the remarkable features of an art installation, making them ideal for any space.
