Prominent Japanese Consumer Electronics Giant AKAI Launches State-of-the-art LED and LCD Televisions

AKAI, a prominent Japanese consumer electronics brand that has more than 80 years of history and a reputation of being a highly creative technology provider has declared the launch of its latest assortment of alluringly priced LED and LCD televisions. There will be two LED TV models and one LCD TV model.

The assortment will comprise the first Indian 29” ultra slim LED television with just 9 mm narrow bezel (model LED29E12). Public response to this product has been very positive. AKAI India is aiming for a 50% growth in the coming quarter with its varied assortment of LEDs, high-definition LCDs, and CRT televisions.

Mr.PranayDhabhai, Managing Director of AKAI India, during the introduction of the latest assortment of televisions, stated that AKAI is recognized for its superior Japanese technology, avantgarde products and designs, and is an international presence. India is a vital link in the market chain for AKAI, especially as the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) markets are making their presence increasingly felt in the global market. The latest affordable and technologically high class LCD and LED televisions will hopefully find good markets in India, more so in the small towns and villages. He further adds that with the festive season round the corner, attractive festive discounts and offers will hopefully help in achieving a goal of 50% growth.

The various new televisions, be it the ultra slim LED 29E12, the 40” full HD LED television Takashi 40 or the 15” LCD television Cutie, provide a very pleasant viewing experience to the users with various technologically superior features.
