Hubbell Lighting Launches New Sedona LED Surface Ceiling Mount Luminaire

Hubbell Lighting’s division, Hubbell Outdoor Lighting has unveiled its new Sedona LED Surface Ceiling Mount Luminaire. It lends itself to many kinds of applications and is a great energy saver. The Sedona fitting is a constituent of the Southwest assortment of Hubbell Outdoor Lighting and Spaulding Lighting.

Sedona offers excellent evenness and adjustability of light for symmetric as well as asymmetric dispersion with an option of three lumen packages ranging from 3700 to 8600 (18-36 LEDs). The concise luminaire, weighing 16 lbs and measuring 4.85” H x 14.00” W, is made up of a hexagonal LED cluster design that renders optical versatility and light level adjustability. The overlapping extra lighting design allows evenness of light even if some LEDs are not illuminated. The aluminum casing’s vertical fins allow maximum heat dispersion and make the fixture durable and efficient. This lumen package assortment saves a lot of power and provides 92-100 lm/W with a surrounding temperature of 40°C.

The upper casing of the Sedona can be fixed directly to ceiling surfaces, standard junction boxes or by ¾” pendant stems. Thus, it is very flexible and can be used in varied applications. Hands-free installation of the Sedona is easier due to a unique internal hook and hinge design, and installation and maintenance are made easier with separate hinged electrical and optical compartments.

The Sedona LED luminaire is best suited for building canopies, stairwells, corridors and parking garages and comes in choices such as black, bronze, powder paint gray, white or platinum. With IP65 rating, it is adaptable to wet locations, can be turned off/on with dimming operation (0-10 V), and includes a choice of photocontrol for power saving during dusk to dawn operations, motion sensors, wiHUBB wireless controls, and vandal shields to prevent theft.
