Corrosion Resistant Aluminum LED Light Fixture from Magnalight.com

The LED light from Larson Electronics’ Magnalight.com is an affordable and serviceable alternative to more expensive integral LED fixtures. The LED lighting solution is constructed with copper free aluminum with a corrosion resistant aluminum reflector assembly.

Hazardous Area Aluminum LED Fixture for Marine and Wet Environments UL Listed

The lights are used in marine environments and the corrosive effects of salt water do have any impact on these fixtures. The LED lamp integrated in the fixture produces more light and is suitable for offshore petrochemical industries where vapors and flammable chemicals are stored. The lights are approved for Class 1 Division 2 locations.

The LED lights are less expensive than integrated LED fixtures and give unique color rendering with contrasting properties because of their 5300K color temperature. The lamps can be easily replaced when they are dead or when higher output versions of lamps are available. These lights need not be replaced for years because they have 50,000 hours of service life. The serviceability of these lamps provides exceptional cost effectiveness, since Magnalight generally provides bulbs that deliver 30% higher output. The LED lights are lightweight since they are not cast in heavy cast aluminum frame, thereby making installation and servicing easier.

Robert Bresnahan of Larson Electronics Magnalight.com stated that these lights are also resistant to vibration and saltwater and hence are suitable for offshore applications and oil rigs.

Larson Electronics’ Magnalight also manufactures explosion proof flashlights, LED trouble lights, explosion proof LED work lights, portable LED light towers and safe LED lights.
