The OLED Association and Smithers Apex have announced the participation of industry innovators such as Philips, LG Chem and Panasonic, to name a few, at the 14th annual OLEDs World Summit to be held from September 26 to 28, 2012, at the Parc 55 Wyndham in San Francisco, California.
The longest-running event in the OLEDs industry will concentrate on markets and investments for lighting and display, and demonstrate latest developments from several research institutes and OEMs.
At OLEDs 2012, over 20 presentations will be delivered over three days by key organizations, which include the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Universal Display, Tianma, Soochow University, Philips Lighting, Panasonic, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, Novaled, Konica Minolta Advanced Layers, IBM, EMD Chemicals, and Arizona State University.
The global audience of display and OLED lighting leaders will also listen to Wolf Greenfield, Sungkyunkwan University, SRI International, OLEDWorks, OLED Association, KeyBanc Capital Markets, Kateeva, IHS iSuppli, Ignis Innovation, Fraunhofer, First O-Lite, Display Search, Bingham McCutchen, and AU Optronics.
At OLEDs 2012, participants will also get the chance to hear three panel discussions involving industry heavyweights on topics: Flexible OLEDs from Concept to Market, Strategies with OLED Lighting Designers; and How OLEDs Can Grow from ‘Niche’ to Market Dominance.
The OLEDs World Summit will start with two pre-conference seminars that will provide participants insights into the major challenges faced by the industry. Barbarians at the IP Gate, headed by Jed Dorsheimer of Canaccord Genuity, will demonstrate participants the way of constructing a lasting IP portfolio with defensive and offensive IP strategies. Options for Innovative Area Lighting, headed by Norman Bardsley of Bardsley Consulting, will focus on color, cost, control and other important topics.
