Amerlux has unveiled GRUV HE, an advanced version of the highly efficient recessed linear fluorescent lighting system. GRUV ensures high-efficiency in an extensive range of industrial, residential as well as commercial applications.
GRUV HE luminaires are being offered in 4-, 6- and 12-in apertures, and ideal for use in slot and t-grid ceilings, gypsum board, Armstrong TechZone, USG Logix, and in standard lengths and runs. Based on drawer latching system, fixtures can be continuous row-mounted or individual, with accurate joining of units for wall runs with J channels, straight runs, or in T or L shaped patterns of just 4" and 6".
The robust steel design of the GRUV HE accommodates sliding lamp trays that optimize light to the end of runs, and integral bend-out mounting tabs to fasten on ceiling rid runners. An extruded aluminum trim provides precision interfacing with majority of ceiling suspension systems. Improved design details and flush lens lead to proper ceiling alignment, while formed reflector ensures high performance optics.
The individual or continuous GRUV HE 4" consists of an extruded snap-in lens, T5/T5HO lamping in one- and two-lamp configurations having 75% efficiency and an LED option with 10W 750lm/ft or 5 W 400lm/ft output representing color temperature flexibility and standard 0-10v dimming.
The GRUV HE 6"(individual or continuous) includes snap-in lens, and T8 one- and two-lamp options with T5/T5HO one- and two-lamp options that ensure 79.7% efficiency. It also includes an optional integrated LED accent light.
The new GRUV HE 12" features individual one- and two-lamp configurations in T5/T5HO lamps and T8 having efficiency up to 80.5%. With measure up to 12-in, the GRUV HE consists of lift and shift lens that houses flush with the ceiling line. It is ideal for TechZone 5'x 5' grid layouts and 30"x30" ceiling grid tiles. Various media including a straight blade louver with acrylic overlay having 56.6% efficiency for the one-lamp configuration are being offered as accessories.
GRUV HE luminaires are UL- and cUL listed.
