Lightwave Logic has recently declared the inauguration of its new internal research lab facility in Newark, Delaware.
With the establishment of this new lab facility, the company will carry out synthesis and testing of its novel materials more efficiently. In addition, it will enable the recruitment of more Lightwave Logic scientific professionals, thereby expanding the development strategy of the company. Also, the factors that hamper the development of high quality polymer films will be eliminated.
Besides the chemical synthesis lab, Lightwave Logic has started establishing an individual, advanced optical laboratory within Delaware. The materials developed at the synthesis laboratory will be tested here.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, Tom Zelibor, the opening of this new lab facility is an important execution in the action plan outlined in the CEO’s recent letter to shareholders. The credit for this prompt and cost-effective achievement goes to the company’s scientific team. Moreover, with the help of Senior Technical Advisor Dr. Fred Leonberger, the development of the company's optical device programs will come to a successful conclusion.
Lightwave’s Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Louis Glasgow commented that the research facility houses several advanced equipment that will foster synthesis chemistry in stringent conditions. Following the recruitment of full-time synthetic chemist and optical engineer, the lab will progress with testing the properties of Perkinamine family of materials. Premium internal synthesis and excellent testing capabilities will improve the company’s efficiency in development and services.
