INSTEON, a company specializing in reliable and advanced home automation technology, has launched INSTEON LED Bulb 8 Watt (60 W), which is claimed to be the world's first networked remote control dimmable LED light bulb. The INSTEON LED bulb has a sleek design, and was developed to illuminate home and personal technology industries.
Joe Dada, Chief Executive Officer at INSTEON, stated that they are very happy to be the first to launch the new product in the market. Dada added that it is available at a price lower that that of the standard LED bulbs
The INSTEON LED Bulb has intuitive control and simple configuration, and can be easily fixed to any INSTEON controller such as a handheld remote. The SmartLinc Hub is capable of changing an iOS/Android smartphone or tablet into an entire INSTEON network or a fully functioning remote control of the bulb when the LED bulb is combined with the free INSTEON app. The bulb is dimmable and could be added to any number of scenes to provide custom lighting just at the flick of a button.
The INSTEON LED bulb includes INSTEON's patented dual-band communication technology, which is an effective and reliable communication system. The LED bulb serves as a network signal repeater, and transmits signals over a home's existing wires and radio frequencies just like other INSTEON devices.
The INSTEON’s products include wall switches, keypads, plug-in modules, motion sensors and thermostats.
