Magnalight Launches Portable LED Light Tower

Larson Electronics’ Magnalight.com has launched a portable lighting system, LED12W-1x4LT-IR light tower that includes four LED lights of 3 W power capacity, which are mounted on an adjustable aluminum shaft, whose height can be adjusted from 24 in.to 8 ft for in order to enable optical illumination of the area focused.

The shaft is provided with four infrared LED lights that are adjustable and provide wide beam spread and high output beam. The invisible infrared light produced from the unit can be observed only via night vision goggles and day/night security cameras.

Four infrared LED light heads with power capacity of 3 W each provides infrared illumination with high power capacity of 12 W to cover 200 ft2 area. The light heads have a lifespan of 50,000 h, and are shockproof, waterproof and are adjustable both horizontally and vertically. This portable lighting system is self-sustained and fixed with collapsible polyethylene legs to form a tower platform that is stable even during windy conditions. The polyethylene legs assembly is supplied power from a 33 Ah lead acid battery that is sealed with Absorption Glass Mat (AGM) and has more than 500 charging cycles. The assembly has various recharging options which include linking the assembly to AC power outlet of 110 to 120 V or DC power outlet of 12 V via a 12 V adapter that is corded with an integrated cigarette plug socket for enabling vehicle connection.

The light tower has a built-in test meter, weatherproof construction, weight of 35 lbs to ensure compact design, and an ability to be utilized as a power source of 12 V. The light tower can be folded to an average suitcase size for convenient transport, and is approved by DOT, FAA, TA, CAB and IA for use in air transport.
