Apollo Lighting’s subsidiary, EchoSun Energy and Green Ballast jointly declared that Green Ballast’s daylight harvesting ballast has been chosen by EchoSun Energy where its EchoSun 2 and EchoSun 2 LED lighting products can incorporate with daylight harvesting ballast.
Following Apollo’s rigorous ballast evaluations, Green Ballast was selected. As part of this assessment, ballast's continuous control system and wireless communication functions and its compliance with EchoSun Energy’s general specification requirements was determined. This evaluation will help leverage both fluorescent and LED electrical light source.
According to Apollo’s President, Brad Sagona, the ability of Green Ballast system to allow each lighting unit to be featured with its own individual dimming control system and to minimize costs per manufactured unit are major factors in selecting Green Ballast's technology to have sophisticated dimming control systems.
