2kW Fiber Laser Launched by JK Lasers

Opening up an exciting range of industrial applications, JK Lasers' newly launched JK2000FL features:

  • Excellent beam quality
  • High processing powers
  • Stable output power from switch-on
  • Consistent focused spot size
  • User-friendly software
  • Fast modulation
  • Pulse shaping

JK2000FL Fiber Laser from JK Lasers

The JK2000FL can be used with different diameter processing fibers from 100µm to 300µm for cutting and welding sheet metal.

Cut 15mm thick low carbon steel (LCS), 6mm aluminium alloys and 10mm stainless steel (304SS). Weld 8mm LCS and 304SS.

The JK2000FL is fitted with JK Lasers' detachable ‘plug in, pre-aligned’ (PIPA) beam delivery fibres which incorporate patented back reflection protection. This protects the laser from damage, especially when processing highly reflective materials such as aluminium, copper, brass and titanium.

Compared to Nd:YAG lasers, the JK2000FL is up to ten times more energy efficient, offering manufacturers substantial savings in terms of running costs. In addition, the extremely long mean time to failure (MTTF) of over 300,000 hours for the individual laser pump sources enables extended system lifetimes.
