Lumenera, an innovator of custom imaging solutions and high performance digital cameras, recently unveiled the improved, small form factor 11 MP Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) digital camera.
The new Lg11059 digital camera offers superior performance, major technological advancements, and simplified use than the previous versions. Designed for industrial and scientific imaging applications, this Lg11059 generates lower noise yet higher bit depth and is safely placed in a smaller, robust enclosure.
The innovative, progressive scan Lg11059 digital camera from Lumenera produces 5 fps at full 4008 x 2672 resolution, with high dynamic range of up to 66 dB. In addition, it provides integrated Canon EF lens mount, locking GigE power and GPI/O (Hirose) connectors and selectable 8 or 14-bit image data. Provided with a 43.3 mm image diagonal and electronic global shutter, this high resolution Kodak KAI-11002 Interline Transfer image sensor generates insignificant lag, low dark current noise and smear.
Capable of providing high sensitivity and high fidelity color reproduction, the Lg11059 can be reliably used for low-light environments that require a high dynamic range.
The measurement of high performance Lg11059 is compact with measurements 76.2 x 76.2 x 82.6 mm, and therefore is ideal for deployment in compact spaces. Its simple plug-and-play installation is manifested through digital I/O interface, the fully locking Gigabit Ethernet cabling, and power connector. A software-driven locking Hirose connector that supports 4 output and 3 input ports provides simple I/O cabling. Furthermore, it ensures high-resolution imaging in traffic monitoring, pathology, industrial inspection and aerial surveillance.
Lumenera’s standard API interface or through the GigE Vision interface leverages still image captures combined with full streaming of uncompressed video. The frame rates can be expedited through the camera’s binning modes and region of interest. Offered in color, monochrome or in custom variants, the Lg11059 is now commercially available.
