Xeleum Lighting recently declared that its XTR series of high efficiency LED light fixtures are now available. These fixtures generate uniform distribution of natural light and offer extended maintenance free operation.
With these fixtures, the energy cost of the fluorescent fixtures can be reduced to half. This cost-efficiency feature eliminates the need to replace a fluorescent tube, ensuring customers with long-term efficiency. Expected to endure up to 50,000 h and based on the actual operating conditions, the new luminaire series can generate superior lighting even beyond its 20th year of operation.
The meticulously crafted XTR luminaires are available in various configurations such as 1ft X 4 ft, 2 ft X 2 ft and 2 ft X 4 ft fixtures that consist of three light engine cylinders designed using linear arrays of efficient LED chips. These chips were fully tested for compliance with LM80 standard requirements. Due to the dynamic photometric and thermal management design, the LEDs can operate at cool temperatures that contribute to extended life potential without compromising on the maximum quality natural light.
Furthermore, this new series of LED light fixtures feature specifically-shaped diffusers, which in spite of their thinner configuration prove to be robust and highly efficient compared to simple flat diffusers and drivers with higher power factors greater than 0.9. In contrast to fluorescents, LED lighting products are devoid of mercury, glass or other toxic materials. They are dimmable and can turn on instantly. Having a low profile of only 1.8”, the XTR troffer is compatible even in tight spaces.
The Xeleum XTR series of LED troffers is Canadian CSA C22.2, LM79 and are DLC compliant and comply with UL 1598 and UL 8750 requirements.
