Bridgelux, an innovator and producer of LED lighting technologies and solutions, recently declared the launch of the Bridgelux Cetero Spot Light Module (SLM).
This high flux density and compact light source offers consistent pure white light without pixilation, which can be customized to meet the Zhaga spot light module specification in future. The Cetero SLM will generate light output with lumen ranges between 800 and 2300 lm, together in one common form factor across varied color temperatures. The mechanical compatibility of Cetero SLM and its compliance with Zhaga interface specifications will make it a modular product platform supporting luminaire design expansion, ensuring interchangeability.
Bridgelux is a dynamic part of Zhaga. This global consortium focuses on developing standard specifications for LED light engine interfaces. Operating with over 180 lighting industry members, it ensures interchangeability of LED light sources from a variety of manufacturers. Based on this design specification, manufacturers can develop products with maximum design flexibility and a future proof upgrade path that will benefit both OEM customers and end users. It also helps meet the challenges concerning the rapid evolution of LED technology as well as sustainability features.
The Cetero modules will be offered in color temperature options such as 2700, 3000, 3500 and 4000 that delivers 80 CRI and 3 SDCM color consistency. Initially, three lumen categories that generate operational lumens of 800, 1100, and 2000 lm will be offered, ensuring compatibility with secondary optics. The Cetero SLM will be available in the markets by the end of 2012.
Bridgelux’s latest products will be showcased at Light+Building in Frankfurt, Germany, from April 15 to 20, 2012.
