HiViz LED has developed a new lighting device that incorporates a LED diode pack of high power. Unlike traditional halogen lamps, it delivers a highly efficient light output up to 55,000 h, which is equivalent to 6,000 lm. It shows 90% efficiency within visible light spectrum.
According to HiViz LED’s product innovator, Sam Massa, the new lighting product is similar to traditional spot light in terms of efficiency and therefore acts like a shotgun rather than a rifle. This innovative HiViz product known as the HiViz Profiler LED upgrades the traditional GoLight Profiler II searchlight.
This innovative HiViz Profiler LED searchlight is rechargeable, handheld and battery powered. It features a removable lithium-polymer battery pack, having a runtime of up to 1 h at full power, and therefore ideal for use in rescue, fire, and military operations. Designed to be tripod mountable, this Profiler LED can also be integrated to HiViz LED diode pack, allowing quick deployment as an unmanned scene light.
Designer Sam further added that this battery-powered solution is effective during emergencies. Any emergency during night time requires high power light to carry out the emergency operation, even when a team of rescue professionals and tools are available. The light tower on the rescue truck sometimes fails to be sufficient, requiring more light. Rescue operation down the hills entails manpower, illumination for stabilizing the vehicle, personal assistance and handling of rescue tools. Hence, a battery-powered solution mounted to a tripod will be the need of the hour. Due to its insignificant configuration and light weight, it can be easily deployed anywhere down the hill. Its wireless configuration furthermore simplifies its operation.
