Micron Optics has expanded its major established system integrators of fiber Bragg grating (FBG) based sensing interrogators and optical sensors. This global expansion provides increased potential in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
The customers can now implement the inherent immunity of fiber optic sensors for complex aerospace, civil, power, industrial, and transportation applications. Maximum potential can be achieved by the integration of the company’s optical sensing products with the know-how of its system integrators.
Japan-based CMIWS, a system integrator of Micron Optics, supports the expansion of fiber optic sensing technology-based optical sensing market in Asia.
European system integrators have two new alliance partners such as Switzerland-based Marmota Engineering AG that will offer fiber optic sensing solutions for geotechnical applications such as monitoring, consulting services and installation. The other is Scandinavia-based Dimense Oy, a company specializing in production and marketing of structural health monitoring and instruments, and offering measurement services for tunnels, dams, bridges, roofs, and embankments.
Furthermore, four new system integrators augment the expansion of Micro Optics in America. They are:
- Mexican-based Impulso Economico Digital Mexicano SA de CV that focuses on structural health monitoring.
- Chile-based Imacu Ingenieria & Servicios, an engineering and construction service company specializing in remote and structural health monitoring projects for civil infrastructure, geothermal, and mining sectors.
- Costa Rica-based Capris S.A., one of the largest providers of measuring instrumentation for the automotive, medical, semiconductor, civil, and industrial sectors across Central America. It also offers complete engineering and integration services.
- Geosinergia, a geotechnical engineering and services company serving the geomechanic monitoring requirements of the hydraulic, civil, and mining areas in Chile and South Americas.
