Larson Electronics' Magnalight has declared the launch of its robustly-designed metal halide light tower. Operators now have a portable mid-sized tower lighting solution from Magnalight with extended illuminating capability.
The WAL-C-2XM portable light tower has been designed with dual metal halide light heads and a wheeled quad-pod made up of powder coated steel that can generate the power needed to illuminate a work space measuring over 90,000 sq. ft.
Magnalight’s WAL-C-2XM portable light tower generates brilliant illumination in a portable tower package and has illuminating and power capabilities as that of powerful and larger units. It has been installed on to a four leg quad-pod made up of powder-coated steel for stability. In this fixture, the height of the tower can be adjusted from 7 to 14 ft and by using its hand crank cable winch with brake it can be raised or lowered. This light tower’s base has two solid wheels, which facilitate tilting and movement in the work area from one location to another. The tower includes removable light assembly consisting of two metal halide lamps of 1,000 W that can be adjusted either way for covering across the entire work space. In addition, it includes a control box containing the light ballasts, safely incorporated with an integral on/off switch, line circuit protection, and power indicator.
Designed to operate with 120 VAC standard power, this light tower system ensures efficient operation. A SOOW cord measuring 25 ft with abrasion and chemical resistance is integrated to a standard heavy duty straight blade plug that connects to most standard power outlets. This entire unit can be dismantled and can be transported and deployed easily. This light tower generates 220,000 lm of bright white light and can light-up 98,000 sq. ft of work area.
