VITRONIC presents the VITUS 3D Body Scanner in Japan

The VITUSsmart body scanner is used in the fabrication of tailor-made garments, assessing occupational groups, for collecting anthropometric data for medicine and orthopedics, for encouraging and training athletes, and for presenting raw data for virtual reality projects. The high precision and performance of these scanners ensure a wide range of applications.

The VITUSsmart has high precision with a point density of up to 27 points per cubic cm. It generates highly accurate data, reducing hidden surfaces during the scan. Striking textures or varied color clothing cannot have any impact on the quality of the 3D image as the process is quite intense.

The new solution offers a suitable software for specific hardware. For instance, the Human Solutions in the clothing industry offers the user with a full package of hardware and software based on the requirement and purpose.

VITRONIC is a global machine vision company that operates with 400 staff. It has more than 15 years of experience in body scanning technology. The company has installed several scanners globally. VITRONIC is owner-managed with extended objectives, and serves as a reliable partner.

The 3D Body Scanning Technologies Asian Workshop is scheduled from April 17 to 18, 2012 in Tokyo, Japan, where VITRONIC will demonstrate its new solution.
