Quality Systems recently declared that its dental unit, QSIDental, has signed a reseller agreement with Suni Medical Imaging, a producer of digital radiography products for dental market.
As per the agreement, Suni’s products such as sensors, 3-D imaging, cephalometic and panoramic products along with QSIDental’s solutions such as the NextGen Electronic Dental Record (EDR) can be utilized by academic institutions, community medical and dental healthcare facilities, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and dental practitioners across the country.
The Suni3D family of products offers next-generation imaging systems. Suni One-Shot Cephalometric and Digital Panoramic Systems based on the contemporary technology offers extensive diagnostic capabilities with excellent image quality that enables rapid, precision diagnoses. With Suni3D, anomalies can be easily and rapidly diagnosed.
A rapid increase in oral, implant, and cosmetic surgeries in addition to various other dental procedures demand improved, broad range of diagnostic capabilities. In the past years, the 3-D imaging and related solutions were expensive and even the entry-level solutions were not convenient. Hence patients were directed to imaging centers, resulting in complexities. This agreement with Suni will therefore allow both NextGen EDR and QSIDental operators to cater to the growing diagnostic needs by offering an extensive range of digital imaging solutions at one-stop.
Since 35 years, QSI has been offering dental technology solutions to promote patient care besides serving the dental markets enabling reduced costs, increased productivity with minimal risk. Clinical products with features such as integrated digital radiography, voice-activated periodontal software, touch screen, customized smart notes, and integrated smart logic, are readily available.
