Canon Australia has unveiled the latest contemporary models such as the 12x optical zoom IXUS 510 HS and 5x optical zoom IXUS 240 HS, a part of the IXUS range of digital compact cameras. These new, innovative compact cameras consist of advanced, 3.2” LCD touch screens that facilitate high-quality photographs and also feature Wi-Fi connectivity.
The elegant IXUS WiFi compact camera range has an exquisite streamlined appearance that makes the camera fit into handbag or pocket. The other significant features of the IXUS range include a DiG!C 5 Image Processor to ensure true-to-life images, a 12x (510HS) and 5x (240HS) optical zoom to get users closer to the action, Full HD video recording capabilities, and a High Sensitivity CMOS sensor to deliver quality images in virtually any lighting scenario.
The integrated Wi-fi technology facilitates operators to share movies and images through email, utilizing web-enabled Wi-Fi devices, tablets and smartphones.
With the Full HD 1080p movie recording, motion pictures with improved clarity are captured, can be viewed directly on an HDTV and can also be shared.
With Canon’s unique DiG!C 5 Image Processor, images with a natural look can be captured with minimal blur, and action pictures with improved white balance and better noise reduction with brilliant color and clarity can be generated.
The High Sensitivity CMOS sensor, combined with DiGiC 5, includes IXUS 510 HS (10.1 MP) and 240 HS (16.1 MP) that facilitate delivering high ISO pictures, with improved noise reduction and minimal image blur, thus making it ideal for indoor or outdoor applications. In addition, the Intelligent IS operates to reduce blur due to camera shake, ensuring perfect, bright shot each time.
The IXUS 240 HS and IXUS 510 HS digital still cameras will be available in the markets by April, 2012.
