Larson Electronics’ Magnalight has introduced a high power, LED light fixture capable of replacing a 400W metal halide components.
The new HAL-PRM-150W-LED hazardous location LED light fixture is U.L. approved, and generates 14,790 lm in a 600 flood pattern. It features a rugged aluminum covering fitted with 30 Cree XPG LEDs. The fixture incorporates the latest in CreeLED design and serves to be an IP65 rated fixture with demonstrated hazardous location fixture design. It has an extensive application in wet water and marine environments as it is made up of cast aluminum with a hinged tempered glass door and corrosion resistant hardware that promotes stability, with increased durability and resistance to furnish specific requirements.
This fixture is equipped with a u-shaped trunnion installation with vertical adjustability, facilitating the unit to be affixed to flat surfaces and walls. Active heat control is leveraged with the help of an incorporated pulse width modulation circuitry for LED maintenance. Designed to function along with 120 V AC, these LED lights contain a threaded three-quarter inch of conduit access for simplified power source connectivity. These lights are Class 1 Division 2, groups A, B, C and D approved, besides gaining the UL1598 approval. They serve to be an ideal solution for outdoor marine application. These units have an extended life span of 50,000 h, and consume > 2 A on 120 V current. These hazardous location LED lights, besides having wide application in marine industry, prove to be well-suited even for industrial and commercial environments.
