DisplayLink’s European Design Center Display Solution AG has developed innovative LCD display shelf solutions that will be showcased at the USB Tech Zone at CES 2012. DisplayLink Technology forms the basis for the new USB-controlled Digital Signage Multi-Cell Mini LCD TFT Modules for E-Shelves at POS.
The Mini TFT Screens features high-resolution, clear images and seamless video playback. It keeps its customers updated on the latest information. It facilitates multiple connections up to 168 displays on a single PC, eliminating the need for an extra graphics card.
The attributes of the mini USB/multi cell LCD TFT system include resolutions of 960 x 272 to 5280 x 1632; a single computer serves as a source connecting up to 14 units and to 168 displays through 14 simple USB interfaces, depending on the required performance, up to 12 4.3 in displays composed of modules such as MCM Multi Cell Module, each with 2 or 3 LCDs; energy-efficient, simple USB set up with DisplayLink USB virtual graphics control graphic chip, durability and reliability.
Retail shelve information is facilitated by using the digital shelf edge horizontally, and vertically used for digital floor information in elevators. Digital Signage Software Network supports control and maintenance.
The Mini Cell’s text, video and photo real-time information display such as POI and gaming, benefits retail and various other markets.
