Bitplane, a producer and supplier of visualization and analysis software as well as three-dimensional and four-dimensional image processing has declared the introduction of their novel Imaris 7.4 software.
The Imaris software’s recent version provides advanced features wherein confocal data analysis can be employed for other purposes than just visualization. Various improvements have been added by Imaris 7.4 to its major features in modules, which allow users to perform complicated image analysis.
A new Imaris module called ImarisVantage is intended to provide microscopy image data in a range of dimensions. This module also facilitates users to recognize and derive more facts from intricate microscopic data sets. By designing a range of object representations that can be fully customized, it allows the researchers to differentiate multi-dimensional and multi-object images.
Since the user is provided with multiple plots, three- or four-dimensional data can be converted into a dynamic library of individual objects or a multi-dimensional, sophisticated time plot can be created.
ImarisVantage operators can create informative scatter plots for a representation of image data in 4D with extra coding, scale and color to know the concealed interaction between objects. Imaris MeasurementPro's analytical engine supports ImarisVantage to enable use of a wide range of object parameters, providing information about the calculated key statistics.
Other characteristics of Imaris 7.4 include novel segmentation functions in ImarisCell, additional expansion of ImarisXT, MicroManager File format aid for data import into Imaris, and a highly flexible filament analysis in Imaris FilamentTracer.
Based on the present success of the Imaris software, new features in Imaris7.4 will improve the performance of the current Imaris systems making it a suitable software choice for three-dimensional and four-dimensional analysis and visualization.
