Siemens Healthcare obtained orders from a particular supplier in Latin America regarding equipments for medical imaging.
For three subsequent years, Siemens anticipates to provide 60 diagnostic imaging systems along with its software to Alliar, an individual shareholder which will cover cities in several Brazilian states with Siemens computed tomography, magnetic resonance, and molecular imaging systems, facilitating earlier detection of diseases thereby assuring appropriate treatments. Siemens' contract with Alliar demonstrates its strategic advancement towards benefiting BRIC countries by establishing their healthcare technology in rural places.
The Vice President of Alliar, Dr. Francisco Maciel Junior says that Siemens provided an integration of product quality with favorable results and better performance with a low downtime. It is an integration of economically advanced systems offering consistent and reliable results.
Alliar emerged from a combination of successful imaging diagnostic companies in Brazil, which is intended to offer valuable and cost-effective diagnostic services to the small towns of Brazil, which require imaging diagnostic centers, although they possess increased economical potential.
Siemens caters to the customer needs by supplying solutions and products for a complete patient care ranging from early detection, prevention to diagnosis, treatment and even post-treatment services. Siemens intends to provide a better, economic and accelerated health care service by employing around 51,000 workers globally.
