Mexican executives have chosen the EG-series solar LED lighting system for its outdoor area project worth $1M USD. This novel, independent EG-series of Carmanah solutions’ solar outdoor lights caters to the entire performance requirements by providing reduced capital cost with significant products, cost-efficiency, and energy cost conservation without any electrical cabling during the operation. Furthermore, the product has been constructed intending to protect from damage and theft.
This innovative technology is the company’s progressive development of consistent and economic solar LED lighting products, designed particularly for the developing regions. Carmanah unveiled the EG40 and EG80 solar outdoor lighting systems on November 30th, 2011 to offer the emerging markets with improved technology. The EG-series is considered to be a powerful and assured solar lighting system offering an advanced integrated design that simplifies installation and safeguards from vandalism. The EG-series solar engine controls flood and also Type II, III, IV, and V LED luminaires.
The CEO of Carmanah, Bruce Cousins, says that this project characterizes Carmanah’s independent installation of solar outdoor lighting products, satisfying the needs of various customers especially in the developing markets, proving its strong association with Semex.
Carmanah Technologies and Semex in 2010 signed a distribution and manufacturing contract to facilitate solar outdoor lighting technologies to Mexico and to other global clients.
