ATEN Launches Lightweight and Environment Friendly LCD Consoles

ATEN has come out with a new LCD console, CL3000 PS/2-USB, which is a light weight and environment friendly unit that suits applications such as the front end console for KVM switches.

The LCD console comprises a 19-in. power-saving LED for backlighting. Using the new LCD console a lot of space can be saved as the keyboard, video monitor and the touchpad are fused into a single unit.

The CL3000 consumes only 72.9 BTUs an hour and 21.4 W of power and offers power savings of 55% when compared to other consoles. There are extra console ports which enable a second user to access the console locally when it is used in conjunction with a KVM extender or an ATEN NET switch. The CL3000 is an ideal solution for remote controlling of computers present in different locations. The CL3000 is most appropriate for use in applications that have lightweight requirements, such as in military vehicles and aeronautical equipment. The specifications of the CL3000 are 19 in monitor enclosed in Slideaway housing, backlit LCD monitor that enhances energy-savings, lightweight design for convenient installation, additional console port in order to monitor consoles from an exterior console, low power consumption and a dual interface that is compatible with computers having USB keyboards or PS2 and mice.
