Luminus Devices has declared that the Trackspot Bolt, the latest-generation entertainment luminaires of High End Systems, uses a light engine based on Luminus Devices’ CBM-360 Big Chip LED.
The CBM-360 provides a lumen output of 4,000 lms from the least total source area, an important parameter to make a highly efficient, compact imaging optical device for a gobo location. Even with that intensified luminous flux, the CBM-360 delivers uniform and bright light, while consuming minimum power. With the CBM-360, the Trackspot Bolt luminaires release minimum heat compared to the original versions.
Don McDaniel, who serves as Luminus Devices’ Director of Global Entertainment, stated that the CBM-360 LED-based compact light engine has revitalized High End Systems’ Trackspot Bolt luminaires by providing bright light and additional features, while consuming less power, a proof for the advancement brought into the entertainment market by Luminus Devices with its Big Chip technology platform.
High End Systems is presenting a trade-in program for lamp-based Trackspot luminaires during the year end. The Product Manager at High End Systems, Brad Schiller commented that the combination of company’s Trackspot Bolt luminaires and Luminus Devices’ LED engine offers sophisticated lighting solutions to stages and small clubs. The company’s trade-in program assists its customers to shift to sophisticated LED technology and new features, while offering more reliability, operating life and operational savings.
