New Conduction-Cooled, Multi-Bar, Line Source From Dilas

DILAS, the diode laser company, is now delivering a new conduction-cooled, multi-bar, line source module with a homogeneous top hat optical beam profile in the slow-axis and diffraction limited profile in the fast-axis.

This module is capable of 600W power output in 880nm +/-5nm.

These conduction-cooled, multi-bar modules are based on DILAS’ beam shaping and homogenization expertise. By applying these concepts, DILAS obtains a 97.5% (+/-2.5%) homogenized intensity profile in the slow-axis. The line dimensions are 10.5mm x 325µm (nominal). Customized focus geometries can be offered as well.

Designed for materials processing applications, these homogenized, multi-bar modules are ideal for solar, plastics welding, semiconductor processing and thermal annealing.

Conduction-cooled, multi-bar modules are available with optional features to include a power monitor and user exchangeable protection window. Each DILAS module is manufactured according to the industry’s highest standards, resulting in stable sources achieving high optical efficiency reducing capital expenditures and operating costs.

DILAS, the diode laser company, is focused on delivering the most innovative technologies and advanced product solutions in the industry. Founded in 1994 in Mainz, Germany, with operations in North America and Asia, DILAS designs, develops and manufactures quality high-power, high-brightness semiconductor laser components, modules and systems, including fiber-coupled products for worldwide distribution.
