US-based lighting company, Finelite has announced the launch of high-performance recessed LED lighting. The whole range of HPR LED lighting range from Finelite was recognised by the Illuminating Engineering Society for the annual report for the year 2011.

The HPR LED comes with a right diffuser which has the ability to distribute high quality light without glare. The product’s light engine has the capacity to deliver 90% light output initially and can operate for 100,000 h.
The range of HPR LED comes at sizes of 2x4, 2x2, 1x4, 1x2, and 1x1 along with wall wash fixtures. The 2x2 HPR LED consumes 35 W and provides 90 lumens/W. The optical chamber has been coated with white paint with a matte finish in order to provide high performance. All the HPR LEDs in the collection have a dimming standard of 0 - 10V and have been tested. Each HPR LED has been individually tested and the LM79 and LM90 reports are available for each product in the collection. The entire collection is also compliant with the Buy American Act of 2009. The HPR LED collection has a two door design and optic choices of three centres. This design makes it a suitable choice for lighting classrooms, offices, healthcare facilities and any other environment which requires continuous lighting.
