Beacon Enterprise Solutions a company involved in the development, management and implementation of high performance information technology systems (ITS) infrastructure solutions, has entered into an agreement to offer fiber-optic cabling to one of its Fortune 50 pharmaceutical customers.
The project value is estimated to be $500,000, approximately and the task will commence by the end of the month, and is expected to finish by the end of the year. Seven buildings will be connected by Beacon using single mode fiber optic cable in order to interlink the telecommunications rooms between facilities to ensure improved data transfer efficiency as per the conditions of the contract. The project, located in US will take care of building security requirements along with conventional local area network requirements to enhance the customer’s ITS infrastructure in the campus.
According to the President and COO, Beacon, Jerry Bowman, the project is valuable, for some of the projects were postponed for a year or two, and this project is the first among the postponed ones. He said that this is the second agreement that the company has signed from July in the Pharmaceutical Division and is similar to on-the-shelf projects that need to be completed in the near future.
