Treston, a technical furniture manufacturer has designed and released its novel ZL3 LED Task Light to enhance precision and ease for persons accomplishing high-accuracy tasks such as re-assembling small electronic parts or affixing a watch, it is important to be able to control contrast, intensity, and alignment of light.
The working area has to be bright enough to ensure that every component is observed without any stress to the eyes.
The ZL3 Task Light incorporates a flexible arm that can be affixed to a work area of 55 mm or even less, a large 127 mm 3-diopter magnifying lens, and two LED light sets. The distinct feature of ZL3 is that the LED lamps can be individually altered with 10 dimming variations up to maximum brightness of 3000 lux, providing several advantages over traditional lights.
A major advantage is that the LED technology is suitable for high-precision work when compared to fluorescent lights. LED lamps can be focused on the particular item instead of focusing on the complete work area to achieve better control of the light path, energy efficiency, and longer lamp lifetime.
Another advantage is better control over light shadows and contrast, obtained by fine-tuning the light brightness on both sides of the magnifying lens. This enables users to optimize the brightness of certain components and parts and improve accuracy for making the minutest adjustments.
The ZL3 light alleviates stress to the eyes, and provides a continuous beam of light without flickering so as to accomplish tasks in a faster and convenient pace.
The ZL3 Task Light finds applications in areas requiring visual quality regulation like R & D, technical labs, mould making, watch making, precision mechanics, and in several other precision crafts.
