EcoNoon launches a range of lighting devices and technology to serve the global requirements for energy-efficient lighting in industrial, commercial, domestic and public spaces.
According to Ir Ooi Seoh Lin, Chief Marketing Officer, the technology discovered by EcoNoon will enable to obtain energy-savings in lighting.
LED bulbs have a greater illuminating efficiency than incandescent or fluorescent lamps, and do not have any dangerous chemicals endangering the living things on earth and the environment.
He added that the company’s business model aims at replacing the present lighting fittings with light modules or LED bulbs. He states that the new additions to the company’s lighting product portfolio includes high intensity discharge (HID) lamp/sodium replacement bulbs (SB series), yet to be certified and will be ready in October, Globe bulbs, GL series, expected in the market by September, and mini spot light bulbs/spot light bulbs (ML/SL series), which will be available in three months.
He said that EcoNoon's LED bulbs do not heat up as they do not have metal core printed circuit boards (MCPCB). The company’s structural solutions and patent-pending optical and thermal solutions are more advantageous than existing models.
Mr. Ooi said that since several available LED light models exhibit inadequacies in thermal solutions the transformation to LED lights has been very slow..
Mr. Ooi added that the company is keenly analysing numerous applications and utilising the company’s LED lamps to resolve energy-usage problems existing in various fields. The company has the potential to customize LED solutions to suit specific applications and the lights can be designed in a range of colors.
He said that the company’s chief product will be HID/sodium replacement bulb which will be installed in place of existing street lights without any need for novel fittings. The bulbs weigh lesser than existing bulbs and deliver more power.
