TVU Networks, a live electronic news gathering (ENG) broadcasting solutions provider, has launched the TVUPack Mini, a lightweight, transportable, compact, live video transmission solution that uses wireless data cards to transmit live events from any place direct-to-Web with SD or HD transmission quality.
The small form factor and lightweight design of TVUPack Mini gives a device of professional quality to production teams, broadcasters, independent videographers, and press agencies to record live video and directly transmit pictures of enhanced quality to the Internet.

The Mini weighs less than two pounds and is compatible with various camera setups. It can be used in a belt, or in a shoulder mounted casing, or as an independent unit, or can be fixed between the camera and its battery using Gold Mount or V-Mount battery plates.
TVUPack Mini broadcasts video and audio signals across 4G, 3G, WiMax, and WiFi networks. TVU's in-house technology, Inverse StatMux enhances video broadcasting by splitting a live video signal during run time and broadcasts the portions via several independent wireless connections in accordance with the availability of bandwidth of every connection, and combines all the portions at the receiver. This results in advanced image quality and a more consistent stream.
TVUPack Mini is user-friendly and automatically configures or controls the signal, assisting the camera operator to focus on capturing live video. It saves energy and prolongs battery life. It features internal reserve battery that functions during battery changes, assisting camera operators to change into external batteries without causing an interruption in broadcasting. TVUPack Mini complies with TVUPack Cloud, enabling users to transmit footages directly to the Internet.
