Humless launches the “Light the Night” program, which will bring solar power for rural medical clinics and off-grid communities around the globe.
Initially a portable, effective and silent solar power generator and power supply, the X50 series is aimed at helping a Uganda-based social organization, Safe Mothers, Safe Babies (SAFE), which provides medical care to new-born babies and expectant mothers. As a next step, Humless will provide economic and dependable solutions to cater to the emergency power requirement of home medical equipments.
Jacquiline Cutts, Founder and President of Safe Mothers, Safe Babies, stated that a lot of women die at child birth due to the non-availability of lifesaving care while delivering babies at night. He added that the solar power devices developed by Humless will remove this difficulty of women delivering babies at the health clinics in candle light.
Humless offers a reliable source of power to rural health centres to enable lighting during the night, operating of life-saving equipments and refrigeration. Humless technology also gives light to a large number of houses in darkness in the rural areas.
Glenn Jakins, CEO of Humless states that he is delighted that the company is able to play a role in making the world brighter.
While purchasing Humless’ product Sentinel online, customers can optionally contribute to SAFE via the shopping cart. Sentinel, a portable, noise-free, alternative-fuel generator has a 10-year shelf life and a considerably long charge-time with universal output/input connectivity features as well as sophisticated lithium power storage. Humless devices has received “Best of Show” award in the Self Reliance Expo held in Salt Lake City.
