Syringa Networks has declared an expansion project, by which will high-speed fiber optic networks will be installed at five additional communities in Idaho. The communities that will be catered to include Bliss, Dietrich, Gooding, Shoshone and Wendell communities in Idaho.
The company has secured a multi-million dollar project and has commenced the fiber optic network installation. It has planned to complete installation by the summer of 2012.
This latest expansion of the network will include installation of fiber for 70 mi underground and linked to the current 400 Gb backbone network of the company. The expansion of the fiber optic network will enable schools, businesses, and healthcare facilities with required performance and services. Syringa keeps on its promise to advance the feasibility in underserved regions, by offering broadband services with high-speed to these communities and access to the state’s widespread MPLS network.
The CEO and President of Syringa, has stated that the company is very clear about its commitment to the rural communities and also added that a community having high-speed fiber optic networks will ensure that local businesses continue to thrive and new businesses and employments are drawn to the region.
Besides its expansion in rural areas, Syringa has recently declared about other projects all through the region, which include Boise, Blaine County, Caldwell, Idaho Falls, Northern Utah and Pocatello.
