Acuity Brands, Inc. (NYSE: AYI; "Company"), a market leader in innovative energy-efficient lighting and control solutions, is pleased to announce that its acculamp(TM) AR111 LED Lamp has received TheLEDAward for Best Specialty Incandescent Replacement Lamp at the recently concluded "TheLEDShow" 2011 in Las Vegas.
"TheLEDShow" has become an annual event showcasing the lighting industry's technology progress and expanding selection of products with LED light sources. TheLEDAward was established to recognize participating LED manufacturers that stand out among their peers, both at this event and throughout the past year. This year's award emphasized both product aesthetics and productivity.
The Company's acculamp LED S-Series of lamps, announced in May 2011, includes the energy-efficient PAR 38, PAR 30, PAR 20, PAR 16, MR 16 and AR 111 LED lamps. The acculamp AR 111 LED lamps are available in narrow to wide beam angles, which are ideal for a variety of uses including displays.
